Thanks to Sam and Sue for hosting the Summer Party this year. Another success helped along with a warm and fine evening.
We now look towards the A.G.M. and the Christmas Party. The A.G.M. will see the results of the first part of 'Redbridge' and how the budget has been used to date. We hope to have figures and proposals for the new enigma for Abbotstone. This will simplify the general wiring and will allow DCC to be used at some time in the future.

OO Gauge Matters 

Redbridge progresses as expected although much of the construction happens away from the clubroom, but this does speed up building. At Show and Tell we can see how it was done.

EM gauge Matters 

I was very pleased to see the new layout 'Mawgan Porth' at the Bursledon Brick Works exhibition. As always a few teething troubles kept the operators busy and that pleased me as I always thought it was just my work that caused problems. Some photographs of the layout are now in the gallery.

O gauge Matters 

Planning for the Enigma is well under way thanks to Jeff. The wall in the club room has been amended to allow the town scene to be erected in the club. This will allow for the “joins” only seen at shows to be titivated so that they disappear..

Other Business 

Please note the details of forthcoming exhibitions attached or overleaf as some new ones are there. We need to avoid clashes to allow maximum staffing.
